The machines manufactured by DANOBAT propose a guarantee of quality and performance, even when second-hand, provided they have undergone a good checking. DANOBAT was founded in 1954 in what is commonly called the capital of machine tools: Elgoibar, in the Spanish Basque Country. This industrial town gathers several big names deemed in this sector, and DANOBAT undeniably figures as one of the major economic actors. The reputation of the company has far gone beyond the autonomous community of Northern Spain, because now it has representation across Europe, America and Asia. Sales and service offices have been created in China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, India, and Brazil. New plants have also seen light in India and China in 2010. Meanwhile, the company has considerably expanded with the acquisition of companies with already well established reputation in the design of high performance machine tools. Thus the German manufacturer Overbeck and the English firm Newall came under the lap of the Basque group in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Same for Eurofiber, specialized in the equipment for the automation of production processes in composites, bought by DANOBAT in 2006. During its evolution, DANOBAT has created structures to enhance its status at the international level. To particularly mention IDEKO Technology Center, founded in 1986, and DANO-RAIL, a branch specialized in equipment dedicated to railroads maintenance. Today DANOBAT makes part of the large Mondragon cooperative group. Offering solutions and services based on experience, know-how and innovation, DANOBAT provides large industrial groups working in the automotive sector (Ford, Volvo, PSA Group...), energy sector (Suzlon, Alstom, Gamesa ... ), railroads sector (Siemens, Alstom, Bombardier, SNCF...), goods equipment sector (Alfons Dieckmann, Waidelich ...), hydrocarbons sector (WOBO, Vallourec, Aker Solutions ...) and aerospace sector (SNECMA, Rolls Royce, General Electric, American Airlines ...). The group offers a wide range of machine tools; cylindrical grinder, CNC cylindrical grinding machines, surface grinder, CNC surface grinding machines, and also milling machines, boring machines, lathes, punch presses, band saws, drills, thermal cutters, 3D plasma cutters, bending machines, laser cutting machines and various other cutting tools. The second-hand surface grinding machines and the cylindrical grinding machines may be checked with complete control of geometry to make these second-hand machines perform high precision operations.
